Thank You for the Golden Gifts

LAST July 11, 2016, I turned 50 years old. Yes, I’ve reached my Golden Year.

I cannot praise God enough for the gifts I received from my family, friends, volunteers, and supporters who surprised me with a Birthday Concert held at the Araneta Coliseum on my blessed day, plus P1 million donation for our ministries, including Anawim, our Home for Abandoned Elderly.

That was the peak of my birthday celebration, the first of which — and which I am truly grateful for— was the Fiesta held in Anawim on June 9, 2016.

Actually, the event was a celebration of the 21st Founding Anniversary of Anawim but it also turned out as a Birthday Fiesta!

During the colorful, joyful festival, I received three big gifts: a fishpond for our lolos and lolas; a housing complex for our Anawim employees; and certificates and tokens of appreciation for our hardworking, loyal, outstanding personnel.

The smiles of our lolos and lolas, our personnel, and our well-wishers filled me with inexplicable joy— a gift worth more than gold.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, forever.

May your dreams come true,

Your support will enable us to provide physical and spiritual care for our abandoned elderly
